This guy can plan trips and have someone illegally pay for them but he can’t scrounge up enough money for his own legal defense? $250.00 a plate to pay for the “event” my arse! Nothing like honoring a crook, Nixon would be proud!

Well, now, let’s be fair. He wasn’t being honored for being a crook–and it has yet to be proved that he knew that any of the trips were illegally paid for–he was honored for being damned effective at his job. Even crooks deserve a defense, guy.
