Vegans a National Security Threat!?
January 27th, 2006 | by Paul Merda |It is true, that damned non-meat eating Vegans are going to destroy this mighty Republic. These kinds of extremists have no business peacefully protesting at a Honey-Baked Ham Store (ummmm, yummy). People like this are subversive and threaten to decimate all that is good. It’s a good thing that our government is spending valuable tax dollars that could have been spent on say, education, reducing the deficit or maybe even provide some medical care for people who have no health insurance. Dear Leader - Protecting us from the evil Vegan menace.

Again, we get rid of the Stazzi in East Germany wich literally employed 1/3 of the population to survail the other 2/3 intercepting phone calls, randomly and secretly search homes, keeping a vast library of info on dissedents that posed no real harm except for the thoughts in their heads and 15 years later we start behaving in a similair fashion. Why did we ever bother?
“There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always — do not forget this, Winston — always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face …for ever.” -Orwell

The meat industry is very powerful and has lots of friends in high places. Remember when Oprah was sued by the cattle industry for making a comment on her show — I think it was something about Mad Cow disease but I’m not sure.
With government and industry being so intertwined, this story makes perfect sense.
