Energy and the Future

As the world population grows and as the demand for richer lifestyles grows along with it, the energy demand will continue to rise while supplies remain somewhat fixed. Fossil fuels pollute, Nuclear energy has by-products that will be dangerous for thousands of years (not to mention can be used to make nuclear weapons) and other alternative sources are just too damn expensive.
