Bush Broke the Law

January 31st, 2006 | by Paul Merda |

That’s the name of this article by Charlie Reese. What’s the point of having a Constitution when the “Commander-in-Theif” can just break it at will. Sorry Bush supporters, you are wrong on this issue and you should be at least as ticked off as the rest of us. There is no enemy greater than a President who ignores the law and who usurps power not enumerated to him in the Constitution. We should be less worried about the monsters “over there” and more worried about the growing dictatorship we have here at home. For as much talk as Dear Leader gives freedom, it’s kind of ironic that he is freedoms biggest enemy here at home. Illegal wire-taps, suspension of Habeus Corpus, indefinite detainment of people including American citizens…..freedom, yeah right.

It’d be a lot cheeper and end the war on terror a lot sooner  if we just handed Shrub over to the terrorists in exchange for peace, no?

How typical of a Times Reporter. More concerned about defending a possible enemy than some wire tapping. But I wouldn’t expect anything less.

I have a humorous story. I took my mom to get a cell phone and the guy said since it’s a “Prepaid” phone you don’t have to give your ss# and my mom says “Good then Bush can’t listen in on me”. And she meant that sarcastically. I love my mom!
