Iraq, We Can Safely Blame Bush

February 27th, 2006 | by Paul Merda |

If Iraq falls into Civil War, a scenario that is ever more likely, the world can safely blame Bush for the fiasco. Countless people warned Dear Leader of potential Civil War; The CIA, The State Department, Mid-East Experts and many other foreign Intelligence Services but their words were nothing more than worthless pertubations of air as Dear Leader ignored them all. How many troops did we need to win the peace? A now retired General said 1/2 Million, but Dear Leader ignored him too. I guess the only question that remains now is how many more people are going to die because Dear Leader tried to “create his own reality”? How many Americans will perish as we hightail it out of Iraq? How much equipment will we leave behind and at what cost? Hundreds of billions of dollars for what? A failed state, increased oil prices, devaluation of the dollar, thousands of Americans dead and not to mention, making America look like a bully and a Pariah. Thanks Dear Leader, thanks for nothing…

Great show!  Just goes to show that Dear Leader had no intention of winning this thing, just transfering billions from our treasury to defense contractors….

Yes sir Paul he has f#5*+ up everything he touches. This Administration will go down as the worse in the history of our nation. The gang that couldn’t shoot straight is destroying our reputation and making us look like a fascist state. Hopefully most people will recognize the majority of Americans are turning against the war. Civil war has broken out and will further lead to our demise. The amount of money lost is nothing compared to the loss of life. What is it 2500 dead Americans and 25,000 severely wounded. And that’s just Americans what about all the innocent Iraqis? You rarely hear about the wounded. Most are very badly injured amputees and brain injuries, their lives destroyed. Their families devastated. their children minus a parents love and guidance. It is appalling and yet he continues on. when do we impeach his arse? LV

But, here’s what W, Rove and Co are saying:

You know, I told the people, we don’t need to fear the future because we intend to shape the future.

So, if they are shaping the future, you know they won’t be taking responsiblity for creating the past.   It will have to be by any means necessary, unfotunately.  And they are not going to go down quietly, but kicking and screaming.

Certainly, we can blame Bush and the whole of the W, Rove and Co, but what we really need is an industrial strength congress to bring these rats to justice.

Well, if Iraq is to be a failure, there is plenty of blame to go around.

But the lion’s share will have to rest with Arab governance in general - a grim prognosis for a society where the fanatics sway huge crowds while good people complain in the shadows.

This is not a comforting prospect for a region of the world that has access to 20th Century weaponry, fueled with the rage of an angry and bigoted god…..

Many people will die someday, and most of them will be Arab.

Faith- the ability to leap without looking.

Truly, Bush’s faith in his own kind of “vision thing” has brought nothing but failure time and time again. Amazingly, enough Americans are seeing the same blurry vision and go along with this guy. That will come to an end even more quickly when Civil War in Iraq breaks out in earnest.

Sadly, the nail was hit on the head by Paul- this never had much to do with any vision grander than transferring our money into the pockets of multinational cronies. Kind of like the UAE port deal.

    JR’s only partially right:

Many people will die someday, and most of them will be Arab

Actually,  JR, all people die someday - of all stripes.

Ken also has a point - there is a big difference between leading by faith and leading by fact.  Witness the W, Rove and Co.
