Dear Leader and Co. Should Just Resign
February 28th, 2006 | by Paul Merda |Yikes! A new CBS poll show that Dear Leader’s approval rating is at 34% while 59% dissapprove. A mere 30% approve of how Dear Leader is handling the War in Iraq and 51% think that he does not care about people like themselves. A full 2/3 of those polled do not think Dear Leader has done enough to aid Katrina Victims. Dick’s approval ratings are at 18%, down from 23% a month ago. With numbers like these, it’s gotta be hard to wake up with a smile on your face. Then again, after transferring billions of dollars from the US Treasury to your cronies, maybe he just isn’t that upset after all….

Disagree entirely. Those numbers have put a smile on my face. The only cloud is dislike of the encumbant isn’t enough, especially as Dear Leader will be replaced for 2008. Democrats need to start working out what they stand for, rather thaqn what they don’t. The public likes some positive message in amidst the attacks.

Yeah, lets hope the Dems get out with a message soon. Polls do indicate that the Dems are lacking on this…

In August 74, Nixon was at 24%. So…11 more to go for the record. You can do it, George.

And yet with these rock-bottom ratings, Congress is still scared shitless of him. The Patriot Act just got renewed with just 3 dissenting votes; before that they had been stalling it and stalling it and it sounded like it would just expire. He sure has something over these people. Are they gonna find a horse’s head on their pillow if they don’t vote the way Boy George says?
