The GOP Refuses to Cut Spending
March 23rd, 2006 | by Paul Merda |I must and I will continue to hammer this home; the GOP are a bunch of hypocrites when it comes to being “fiscally conservative”. Once again, they have shown their true colors, they have shown that the term “fiscal conservative” is not meant to be used in the same sentence as the GOP. Recently the Debt ceiling was raised and to show exactly where they stand, they immediately started spending it.
The “tax and spend” Democrats have been replaced by something far more insidious, the “no-tax and spend” Republicans. After 5 years of total control, the GOP has done nothing but grow Government and spend our childrens future. If you voted GOP, what was it that you voted for again?
the Republican-controlled Congress and the Bush administration have shown a near total disregard for fiscal discipline, running up new debt.
