Faux News: Fair & Terrifying!

July 10th, 2006 | by Omnipotent Poobah |

Leave it to good old Faux News. According to them, the REAL story behind this morning’s gas explosion in an NYC apartment building had all the earmarks of Al Quaeda.

I guess the suicide e-mail left behind was from bin Laden.

Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear.

Vote Republican the boogyman is coming, run for your lives.

I wonder if anyone has done a study on the probability of being killed in a terror attack vs. say, getting hit by lightning or dying in a car accident?

Like the Vince Foster story of yore, this will remain a fairy tale of the Right.  Get used to it, folks.

And they complain about Jon Stewart “distorting” the news.  Fox news has become a satire of itself.  The blatant, over the top, fear mongering displayed in this “news” is par for their Orwelean course.  I believe it exemplafies  their growing desperation and bankrupt policies of the rad-cons.  They are afraid Americans are figuring them out, and they react by pounding the “be afraid, be very afraid” themes.

I believe people are beginning to wake up around America.  “We the People” need to keep up the pressure and wake up our fellow citizens.  Voters need to be reminded that progressives seek progress and they work to build a better future.  Today, we are stuck in multiple quagmires.  It is time to make a signficant change for the sake of all our children.

On that note, I foundnd a great site for truth seekers, and resource for bloggers the: Center for Media and Democracy http://www.prwatch.org/
