One Year Birthday for Energy Policy Act of 2005
July 27th, 2006 | by Paul Merda |Yep, that wonderful comprehensive Energy Policy Act of 2005 sure has paid dividends to the American public, hasn’t it? Okay, so it hasn’t, with gas prices higher now than one year ago, we are no less dependent on foreign oil and we aren’t really seeing much in the way of clean renewable energy sources. Chalk this one up as another Conservative failure…

…Not to mention the revival of the nuclear industry. Maybe the next “comprehensive” energy bill we get will actually promote domestic, clean power.

If only we were allowed to drill for oil in the Alaska Wildlife Refuge. That would instantly solve all of our energy problems

ANWR is rich enough to supply us for life. The stupid enviro-whackos keep killing attempts to drill there.
Gas prices are high because of the unrest in the Middle East. Any moron knows that.
