Iran and North Korea Joining Forces?

When North Korea test fired several missiles earlier this month, it seems that representatives from Iran got a closer look at the results than the rest of the world.

According to this quietly published news piece from CNN, Assistant Secretary of State Chris Hill, the chief U.S. negotiator with Pyongyang reported to the Senate recently that ties between the two members of ‘The Axis of Evil” are growing closer all the time.

Gee, I guess we now have enough evidence to bomb the hell out of both countries, at least according to the pre-emptive doctrine established by King George the Bush.

No small wonder though that these countries are trying to team up. Aside from the ominous designation by the Bush Administration, North Korea is badly in need of money and the only thing they have of value is their missile technology. Meanwhile, Iran has a strong desire to obtain the means of obliterating Israel and eventually the U.S., and they have plenty to offer to the Korean regime- money, oil, food. And both nations are on the current pariah list and shunned by many advanced nations, leaving them fewer and fewer partners to trade with.

It would be interesting to note if any of the mass of missiles currently held by Hezbollah have a North Korean stamp inside them. Surely Iran would be eager to hand some over to their frontmen in the proxy war with Israel. But if so, what further actions would be taken against North Korea or Iran

Call me crazy, but I thought we were in the business of reducing nuclear proliferation before Bush came to power. Seems that he’s managed to do nothing but speed it up. Boy, I sure feel safer now.
