Person of the Year finally becomes meaningless

December 16th, 2006 | by Craig R. Harmon |

When everyone becomes “Person of the Year” at once, what’s the point?

Oh, by the way, congratulations.

    I’m sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fuckin’ honored!

Fire the editor! Or on the other hand keep him, he has no fucking clue what citizen journalism means!!!!

Any way, congrats everyone for turning the main stream media on its head!!!!

I would like to thank Time Magazine for helping make me their “Person of the Year”…  Blech.

When all else fails, Time resorts to an easy out.  Kind of like the useless Nobel Peace Prize, especially when it’s given to people like Yasser Arafat.

Thank you, Craig.  And congratulations to you for being Time’s “Person of the Year”.

I only pay attention to TIME when they name their person of the year..jeez..even that was a waste of my time this year. Ahmadinejad would of been more logical than internet content providers.

I thought it would be Barak because the liberal media would want to jam his name and image into us for his run in 2008.

Congrats everyone, you deserve it.  It’s funny though, last year it was Bono and the Gates’ family for all of their giving.  What did America give this year?

Nothing, Steve.  We didn’t even pay for the war.

It’s an honor just to be nominated…but to WIN! Man, I can’t tell you how I feel today…

And for this they devoted a big CNN special (which, by the way, I did not watch).

Craig, I watched it last night and boy did it suck. I didn’t watch it for the content, I have the hots for Solidad O’Brien. My wife thinks I’m crazy but c’mon, the lady is hot!

Well, I guess as long as it’s just pixels on a screen, lust is pretty harmless.

One thing remains to be learned; just how is Time going to toss a party for this year’s recipients?

Good point Windspike..and since its “moi” I want to go and get drunk w/ all the rest of the winners..don’t you? :P

It could be a nice get-together for all the BIO folks!

    OT

BTW, Craig, our Bears almost gave me a heart attack.  They’re gonna need to be better to get past the first playoff game.  They need to remember to play the first four quarters, not just the first three and the overtime.

    UNfortunately I’ll be in Seattle… :)

Yes…it’s a good thing all that matters is the final score and not who played the better second half. Man, oh man, that was a runaway that turned into a squeaker. No interceptions though, that’s a relief.

I have Grossman going in a fantasy league..no INT’s? Praise Jeebus! That has not been the case recently with Rexy

    Oh hey…  I wasn’t following along.

Dusty…  SteveIL is a different person from me and I have Elijah.  Or is it me that got confused?  I don’t know…  It’s been a long day.
