    It’s interesting that the executioner shouted “Long live Maqtada Al Sadr” before he executed Saddam.  

    Contrary to most “conservative” opinions, I am not sorry Saddam is gone.  I am very sorry that we had anything to do with it.  I hope that this does not further stain us in the court of world opinion and that fears of further destabilizing Iraq are all for naught,  but  if history is any judge, then I doubt it.
