Neanderthal-Human Hybrids? We Have The Proof!

January 16th, 2007 | by Ken Grandlund |

A recent discovery may show that Neanderthals and modern humans mated, according to this article out today.

“A skull found in a cave in Romania includes features of both modern humans and Neanderthals, possibly suggesting that the two may have interbred thousands of years ago.”

I could have saved these guys a lot of study. Evidence unearthed by the TeamBIO archeology department shows that not only did Neanderthals and humans mate in the distant past, their offspring survive to this day.

It’s not really funny Ken to the people that are really neanderthal hybrids.

    Just ask Jersey…

You saw that picture a few weeks back!

I actually missed that one, but you are right, I shouldn’t put down neanderthal-human hybrids by lumping Bush in with them. Er…no…wait…

    Yes I should!

(I suppose those Geico cavemen will be really pissed at me too!)

Well this explains red necks and other people who vote Republican!

Or….this could just be another Dracula plot to confuse us all about the TRUE origins of Humanity - we are all made of magical clay. You did say the skull was found in Romania right? Defiantly Dracula. His fang marks are all over this.

If we women didn’t mate with you neanderthals none of us would be here…. ;)

I’ve always suspected that humans and neanderthals interbred.  Neandethals are known to have lived up to as recently as 30,000 years ago in the Steppe and Balkans, Iberia and the British Isles.  If we had solid evidence that we did interbreed, it would go a long way toward proving evolution to the Biblical Literalist set.

My thoughts exactly Jersey. Nothing better than some scientific data to back up ‘theories.’ But then, those folks don’t believe in science anyhow. Unless, that is, it provides cool entertainment options. And perhaps they will claim that God really looks more like a neanderthal anyhow.

Yeah.  Sometimes I think that God Himself could come down and proclaim the truth of evolution and the Literalists would all convert to Islam the next day.

When God comes back it won’t be to blather about evolution. It will be to take us (Christians) to Heaven. It’s called the Rapture. It’s very real and very close.

Sandy, I would rather die and watch you ascend than listen to your delusions of grandeur. LV
