Maybe Romney IS Another Bush
August 7th, 2007 | by Tom Baker |The more I read about Mitt Romney, the more I wonder if he really is a George Bush clone with a better vocabulary. One of the biggest knocks against el Presidente’ is his unwillingnes s to talk to countries hostile to us. It has cost us in Iran, Syria, North Korea (getting them to cut nukes AFTER they build one is meaningless) and Latin America. Almost every other candidate has learned the lesson that diplomacy is not the same as capitulation .
Except for Romney it seems. Here’s what he told Andres Oppenheimer from the Salt Lake City Tribune:
