Mitt Romney - Liar Liar Pants On Fire?
August 9th, 2007 | by Tom Baker |Joan Vennochi has an interesting article in the Boston Globe today questioning former Gov. Mitt Romney’s ability to tell the truth about his Anti-Choice stance. That’s key because Romney has been trying desperately to convince people that his “belief” in anti-choice is just as strong as the next GOP uber-conserv ative. The problem is that according to Ms. Vennochi, his explanations don’t seem to jibe with his past statements and actions.
For example, he claims that his biggest mistake in office was to say that “he supported the current law” even though he was “deeply opposed” to it downplays his out-and-out capitulation on the idea when he ran for Governor:
