I will be watching this Friday evening. I find Rev. Wright to be a fascinating individual. I am not afraid of what he has to say and frankly, I don’t buy into the bullshit currently out there as 5 or 10 second soundbites by the assholes in the MainStreamMedia.

You find him fascinating? The only people who will be watching are the ones defending him or think like him. The only person this can help would be Hillary . What happend to all your guys undying devotion to the Clintons all these years? Same thing that will happen to your undying devotion to Obama?
Which Mainstream Media are you talking about? Bill Moyers,Charlie Rose, Chris Matthews, Larry King, Keith Olberman, ANderson Cooper?
Last I checked they were all defending him.
I can hear it now he is a patriot because he was a marine and served his country but so was William Calley,John Kerry and John Murtha.

Unlike you Lisa, I have watched several of his speeches from beginning to end. One of his most controversial phrases was him actually quoting a white Republican male.
The press of course takes it out of context and then doesn’t tell the viewer who the Reverend was quoting.
Kerry and Murtha are patriots..your point would be what on that one?

I notice you have no comment however on what I wrote about Rev. Wright. Seems you would rather buy into the MSM’s bs than actually watch an entire sermon and see his words and framing of them in context. Typical.

i have watched the Rev’s entire sermons and agree with most of what he said. What’s wrong with saying that Americans have pretty well screwed over any opposition we ever faced in our quest for wealth, power, and the American way. Whether or not God will damn us for it I just don’t know, because my faith in that sort of stuff is very limited. But, a day of reckoning is before us and if you don’t feel it coming you ain’t paying attention to what is going on in the world.

The military is being politicized by the right.That in and of itself is bullshit. Just like BushCo’s minions throwing religion into the mix when it comes to the military is intolerable.
This post is about Rev Wright..once again you have managed to take the thread off course.
Wright addresses the racism of white america that is still there and no matter how anyone wants to verbally beat him up for it..he has valid points. You might not like his delivery..but he isn’t lying.
