Why America knows less than ever about the world
May 27th, 2008 | by Steve O |An incredible video that clearly and alarmingly points out the dumbification of America. It’s amazing that we declare ourselves world leaders yet we know very little about the rest of the world.

Hear, hear Steve O! Come on, isn’t that the American way? Ignorance is considered “cool” but being educated and intelligent makes you a “nerd” or a “geek”!
To take it even further…look at the religious right. They are certainly the most ignorant of us all and they think they need to lead this Nation because god told them to. Imagine where we’d be now if they had been in charge for the last 20 or 30 years….we’d be even dumber.

Maybe we should get Brittney to travel the world more so we can get more international coverage!

Indeed JMcJ!! Have her visit the Great Wall, the Saharra Desert, the Nile Delat etc. Then maybe then, Americans would find it in themselves to have some cultural interest in the world…

It just shows that our colleges are worse at teaching than we imagined. Maybe Ms. Spears ought to be brought in as a professor, students would attend class instead of protesting, and she couldn’t do any worse than current faculty at most journalism courses.
