Marine films buddy tossing a puppy off a cliff in Iraq

I really think our standards are rock bottom if this type of individual is representing the US “interests” in Iraq. From AP via KOMONews.com:
The Marine Corps on Wednesday said it was expelling one Marine and disciplining another for their roles in a video showing a Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff while on patrol in Iraq.The 17-second video posted on YouTube drew sharp condemnation from animal rights groups when it came to light in March.
The clip shows two Marines joking before one hurls the puppy into a rocky gully. A yelping sound is heard as it flips through the air.”That’s mean. That’s mean, Motari,” an off-camera Marine is heard telling the Marine who tossed the black and white dog. The off-camera Marine snickered slightly afterward.
Makes one wonder what they would do to a human being don’t it?

stars and stripes just reported that the marine was a bobby jindal supporter who found a demonically possessed dog over there in iraq. he was simply trying to scare the demon out of the dog by throwing it off a cliff. jindal has since interceded on the soldiers behalf and is arranging a promotion to brigadier general for this modern day audie murphy. jindal hopes that the promotion will become final in time for this marine to lead surge 2, the sequel to the surge which should be so successful as to assure victory for the john w. mcsame/exorcist ticket.

What is it about the left that makes them want to focus on the few bad apples in the military instead of the many fine individuals serving?

“Mersereau said an expert with PETA has analyzed the clip frame by frame.
“There are cues in the audio that give us pause, but we have no conclusion, opinion on its validity,” he said. “We feel it’s absolutely necessary that investigators determine its legitimacy by speaking directly with all those who were involved.”
The apparent discrepancy is in the audio of the puppy yelping as it is airborne. Despite the dog moving away from the camera, the sound does not diminish or fade.
“The sound of the puppy screaming doesn’t seem to jive with his rapidly increasing distance,” said Mersereau, who noted that the group is working with poor quality video from the Internet and not the original tape.
Whether the puppy was dead or alive before it was thrown is also at question.”

Apparently the Marines did take the time to interview both individuals involved..as the linked article states..one was tossed from the Marines the other was “punished” non-judicially.
Whether it was real or not..to make something this sick takes a really fucked up mind and the Marine Corps figured as much too.
