Bakersfield’s first gay marriages!

Even though that disgusting woman, who shall remain nameless, tried to keep the gays and lesbians from being married at Bakersfield’s government center…it happened anyway ya fucking homophobes!!! Tell all those theocratic assholes to sit down and shut the fuck up…the world did not come to an end.
Several sweet religious folk came downtown this morning bright and early to make sure the happy couples were still married at City Hall..or in this case..County Hall..They also DID NOT charge for their services!! Bless them. 
One of our local tv stations was broadcasting the event live..I heart channel 7.
What follows are a few of the lucky couples that took the plunge. I hope they are happy and finally get what they have richly deserved for a hundred or more years..to be just as miserable as the rest of us ‘married folks’.

First Couple to get their license: The lovely Lori Renee and Whitney Weddell. They are all smiles! Bless them for waiting so long.
Next up is Rev. Byrd Tetzlaff, as she officiates the first marriage ceremony between Kathi Gose and Karen Briefer.
next we have Amelia Cravens helping Shelby Himes with her wedding dress train..before they marry each other.
Whitney and Lori has they kiss each other for the first time as a married couple..ah the joy, the love, the all is right with the world feel of it!
So there you have it..Kern fucking County did not get swallowed up into the nether world because some gay folks got married on the steps of the County Administration Building. Fuck all you homophobic bastards..these folks now enjoy the same rights the rest of us have had for friggin evah!
Congrats to the happy couples..some of which have been together for decades and decades..which btw is longer than I have stuck it out with any male. ;p

The reddest county is Calaveras.
I got dogged because my SUV wasn’t lifted with a set of 33’s under it.
I heard Butte County still wasn’t going to do it. Like the suspended all marriage licensing.

Congrats to all the happy couples. My aim is to get invited to as many free parties as I can…to off set the cost of gasoline by not having to buy food for dinner any more. There are more wedding parties in this town than anything else - another win for the tax base, btw.
I remember what Sharon Stone said at the NCLR gala I went to a few years back about the gay marriage thing - “Marry, if you must.”

they are men who can be women when they want to and women who can be men when they want to. see, they can go back and forth whenever it suits them. kinda like john w. mcsame. one day he can say hell yeah, we should tax the hell outta them oil companies and tomorrow he can say no, no, no them oil companies work way too hard for their money, we shouldn’t tax them at all. also, before he slips his little viagrated thingy into the natural light queen, he may say “you are the most beautiful heiress in the whole wide world.” then next day on the campaign stump he can call her a stupid made up trollop c**t. in his earlier days he told the vietnamese he would whup their damn asses and then a few short days later he said he was a black war criminal who bombed vietnamese women and children. see how convenient it is to switch back and forth. in mcsames defense though, i don’t think he meant black like obama but black like vlad the impaler or darth vader or some sort of thing. he wouldn’t want to offend his base you know.

Lisa, what does it matter what they look like? Since when does anybody have to pass the “Lisa approval screen” to do anything? This is a display of their love and commitment to each other - a level of commitment cherished by many.
The fact that you feel a need to mock their appearance says far more about you than it does about them.

point well taken. i believe in fair play. i will someday soon post something about w.j. clinton. i understand he has been having a big time with gina gershon, 19 year old super models and such. i only fear that i would offend gina and she might leave me to face these cold dark nights on my own. i have grown quite fond of her company and resent the not quite as big dog as he thinks he is allegations. she assures me there is no truth to the recent allegations. when she gets back with my 12 pack and $25 bottle of stoli i’ll have her back me up on this. i hear car wheels on the gravel. i gotta go.
